Situated on a protected deep water cove that opens to main lake, you get the best of both worlds--kayaking and swimming in the private cove area and easy access to the big water of main lake. Two separate areas for lodging provide ample space and privacy for multiple families or large groups. The main house includes a large great room with a fabulous fireplace, kitchen with bar area--granite--Sub-Zero fridge, a master suite on the main level , 2 additional bedrooms on 2nd level with baths ensuite & an expansive walkout basement recreation area w/ half bath. The recreation level features a built-in professional bar, and laundry room. The detached garage hosts a spectacular guest suite above with 2 queen beds in the kids room and an additional queen in the main. Equipped with a fridge for snacks this cozy private suite is just a few steps from the main house***. Step outside to enjoy a casual and comfortable screened-in porch and two oversized deck areas with plenty of space for lounging and reading a book. Tie off your boat to the double boathouse that boasts magnificent main lake views! At the end of the day, gather the family and sit around the beautiful stone firepit. This house is located on the South side of Lake Gaston at mile marker 14! *** The actual garage below is strictly off limits.

You'll find the home fully stocked with utensils, pots, pans and about 90% of what most people need.  If you need a specialty utensil or tool it might be best to bring it to avoid any hiccups to meal preparation.  The management staff can assist with any special requests and is always available to help with whatever you need!

The bathrooms are stocked with courtesy soaps and shampoos designed for quick "off the shelf" use.  Each bathroom has a roll of septic-friendly toilet tissue as a starter.  Some use more, some use less.  You are encouraged to bring whatever you feel you might need beyond the courtesy roll provided.

A few more tid-bits...  :)
1.  Trained service animals are welcome!  Otherwise we have a strict no pets policy.  We can help arrange lodging for your pets at a local shelter during your stay if you'd like; just give us a call!

2.  The house, like 99% of all lake homes, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the pier with rental boats.  You won't see much heavy wave action making it a safe haven for docking (make sure to bring your bumpers!)

CHECK-IN TIME:  4:00 PM EST
If the property is ready earlier than 4:00 PM, we will contact you. There is no extra charge for an early check-in, when available.  Our properties have remote access and codes will be provided 3 days before check-in via e-mail, so there is no need to pick up a key.  You can check in at your convenience.

CHECK OUT: 10:00 AM EST

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Bookings cancelled at least 60 days before arrival will receive a 100% refund, minus any non-refundable service fees. Bookings cancelled 30 days before arrival will receive a 50% refund, minus any non-refundable service fees. Any bookings cancelled within 30 days of your arrival are non-refundable.

SMOKING:
Smoking is not permitted inside the property. Any evidence of smoking inside the property will result in a remediation fee charged to your credit card on file. If you smoke outside, it must be away from the home to avoid the smell entering the home and you must clean up all butts.

VERY IMPORTANT: 
Every home is on SEPTIC, not sewer…nothing down the toilet or sinks except water, human waste, & TP.  No grease, feminine products, etc.  This will ruin a vacation and if said products found to correct a septic issue, the renter will be charged to clean the septic.

AC (Air Conditioning):
Please do not set your AC below 70, especially during hot summer days, if the AC freezes up during your stay and the thermostat was below 70, you will be charged for repair.
